- Please allow the staff to concentrate on coaching the team during practices and meets.
- Parent coaching from the stands is not advised. This causes confusion and may result in poor wrestling. Positive encouragement is always welcomed.
- Negative comments are never permitted. Please conduct yourself in a manner that would make your child proud.
- This is a family-oriented team and we encourage parents to attend as many meets as possible.
- Verbal or physical abuse of wrestlers, coaches or other parents, by parents is not tolerated. Any such activity will warrant immediate disciplinary action which may include removal of your child from the team.
- MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN DURING ANY EVENT BY THE ICWL. Coaches, Wrestlers and Referees are not required during practice and matches.
Coaches Code of Conduct
- Each coach will do whatever possible to assist every wrestler to improve his skills and abilities.
- Coaches will lead by example.
- Conduct will be professional and above reproach at all times.
- The coaches will display good sportsmanship.
- Verbal or physical abuse of wrestlers, coaches or parents, by coaches is not tolerated. Any such activity will warrant immediate disciplinary action which may include suspension from coaching.
